Gamebience will be dividing the contents of Cricket Life game into two separate editions: CL: Express and CL (Regular). A third edition, CL: Ultimate, will be combining the two primary editions into one mega game. In addition to this, Gamebience will be introducing a new game, Cricket Life Social.

  • The action-aspect of the game that allows 3D game-play and control of the entire team. Hit runs, take wickets and win tournaments. Just a pure cricket game with a tinge of Cricket Life management features.

  • All features sans the features in Express
    • Cricket Life 1 will be released under this category. The features marked as * will not be available in Cricket Life 1. Instead, they will be moved to the next version and will be included in 'Express Edition'  and 'Ultimate Edition'
      • A couple of features are in talks to be added in addition to those that were already incorporated in order to reflect the realities of Cricket in 2011. The prime feature being considered for addition is the ability of player bidding and addition of Premier league-type tournaments that generate a quite large chunk of money for any Cricketer today. A confirmation on this will only be available once the Dev Team turns focus back to CL from the current Final Ordeal development that's nearing completion.

  • The ultimate edition that allows gamers to play 3D matches as well as control the Life aspects. It's a combination of all features available in Express and Regular editions.

Why?

The above strategy will allow gamers to buy what they want by choosing the editions and thereby spend only on the edition they really like to play rather than forcing them to buy the default edition. Additionally, due to the nature of Cricket Life game, which allows in-game endorsement deals, sponsorships, bidding and other activities

While the release strategy of these editions will not be revealed at the moment, they will be strategically released for better exposure. It could as well be possible that all three editions would be made available at the same time to choose and pick the best. Alternatively, they may even be released at different intervals.

Apart from the above editions, there's a completely new game that's under early development phase, tentatively titled as Cricket Life Social. While no revelations about the content of this game will be made at this moment, it is quite different from the regular version of Cricket Life. Speculations and discussions are welcome, although Gamebience may not necessarily confirm or deny any feature being discussed until it is appropriate to do so. This game is expected to be released only after Cricket Life 1 and as per the available time-lines, by late this year. However, this plan may change or get delayed if it is necessary to accommodate a window for Cricket Life: Express and Cricket Life: Ultimate releases.

  • Development Time-lines will be made available online and updated on a regular basis in the event of any changes or deviation from the plan.
  • If there's a significant change, we will be dispatching emails to all those registered as Gamebience Members to let you know of the changes. Please add 'announcements-at-gamebience.com' to your address book in order to avoid it from being delivered into your spam/junk folder.
